Howdy dowdy folks!

It's Kimmy here today bringing you what I got in my mailbox.  I hope you are all well and had a lovely weekend.  So lets see what I got:

First up

The following book I received from the lovely Clara at Little Brown, Book Group.  This book is due for release on the 2nd September 2014.  I'm a huge Game of Thrones fan and this book reminds me so much of it, I can't wait to get reading it.  So watch this space for my review:

Next up

I had entered a competition on Instagram to win a signed copy of Dark Days by Kate Ormand.  This competition was being run by the lovely Kate Ormand herself.  Unfortunately I was not lucky enough to win the competition, however Kate being as awesome as she is, picked extra winners to receive some signed swag.   I was lucky enough to be one of those extra winners!

I have hunted my local bookshops to get a copy of Kate's book Dark Days.  But had no luck.  So I ordered it from Amazon.  I can't wait to receive it and use the bookmark I received.  Seeing Kate had paid attention to me being on holidays etc makes it that much more awesome.  An author who truly appreciates their fans!

I received the following arc from the lovely Tina Mories at Abrams & Chronicle Books.  This book is due for release in October and I can't wait to read it.  Also check out the awesome bookmark featuring the splintered series and the cover of Ensnared which is due for release in 2015, another one I can't wait to get my hands on!

Welcome to this weeks Mailbox Monday!

Hey everyone Rinny here. This week's mailbox is very short and technically a cheat lol. I have a bunch of books i have been waiting on dropping in through the post box for few weeks. Sadly none has this week :( However Mini cupcake had her drama club production at the theatre last week and as a surprise treat i decided to buy her this book she has been dying (her words but we all know the feeling lol) to get her hands on and read. All her friends are reading them at the minute and they are meant to be hilarious.

Question of the Week:

If you had a time machine (i.e. a TARDIS), where would you go?

Rinny: I would love to go back to my wedding day.  It all went by so quick, It was the happiest day of my life, however you all know what its like and sometimes we fret about the little things, like being on time etc.  So I would like to go back and relive it all over again and enjoy it all over again!

Kimmy: There are so many things that have happened in my life and I think, wow if I could just go back and do that differently, but it has made me who I am today, so I wouldn't change it.  So on another note, probably back to the age of the dinosaurs (safe distance) I would love to see them alive!

Mailbox Monday #5 by Kimmy

Welcome to this weeks Mailbox Monday!

Ooooh what a fantastic day its been.  My mailbox had a few lovely treats inside waiting for me!

First up, I was gifted this beautiful book by my boss as a thank you gift.  I had spied another friend of mine with the book and loved it once I set eyes on it.  I am a sucker for books with pretty pages and wow does this tick all the boxes.  Not to mention that its full of inspiring, mood lifting quotes, love it!

Heart Thoughts by Louise L. Hay

Next I received the following boxset through a competition I won.  I haven't read any of it yet.  But I have read some work from one of the authors.  I highly recommend you pick up this boxset, its less than £1/$1, a bargain!

Shattered Worlds: Six Dystopian Novels

I can't wait to get reading the above.  Especially Heart Thoughts on days inspiration is much needed!
