Rinny Rambles: The Blog is Back & sneak peek at my current read

Hi everyone! We're back !! First off i want to apologise for the very long absence. Life and health got in the way and things were crazy, something had to give whilst I regained control. Unfortunately, it was the blog :( Things are starting to get back in control and I have missed the blog so much. I am thankful for our old followers & friends who have not abandoned us and Welcome any new readers who stumble across our path. Please stay I plan to work hard and make the blog even better. I also want us to interact more feel fee to comment below what you're reading? What books you like? What you want to see on the blog? or even a link to your own blog. I want us to all have fun and chat instead of you all just reading my boring rambles. Follow our social media links at the bottom if you prefer and drop u a message there :) Kimmy is taking a break at the moment so unfortunately, you are all going to have to put up with just me at the moment.  I do have a couple of new ideas for posts i hope are unique that i am working out so keep an eye out can't wait to reveal the plans. Review:

I was offered the chance to review this book by the wonderful Clara from Little, Brown Book Group. When I first saw the cover I was instantly intrigued, then the synopsis left me wanting more.  I had to read this book!

Just look at that cover, like WOW, isn't it amazing!!!

I am delighted to say that I was not left disappointed.  This book covers many categories, historic, dark, paranormal, romance, suspense, dark and so much more.  Everything works so well together!

The storying building around both Miranda and Archer was brilliant.  Both their stories intertwined well, never letting one distract from the other.  Miranda a strong willed female with a dark secret, I found myself longing for her stubbornness and mischievous nature to see what trouble she was going to get into next.  The mystery of Archer and what was behind the mask, Kristen done an amazing job  keeping you in suspense, teasing you with a little bit at a time to keep you wanting more.  At many times, the suspense had me hanging on every word, I felt like a fish on a hook.  I am not normally a huge romance fan, but I really enjoyed Archer and Miranda's relationship and how it developed.  It wasn't rushed and progressed well with the story.

At the end of the book I needed more, their story couldn't be finished yet, I felt deflated.  But after reading the synopsis of the next few books, I got the feeling that when I begin reading those, Archer and Miranda will be a distant memory as I will be enthralled in the next characters and their story.  I can't wait to start reading the next book!

I highly recommend this series to any paranormal romance fans or if your new to this genre, give it a read, you could find your next addiction!

Next up

I had entered a competition on Instagram to win a signed copy of Dark Days by Kate Ormand.  This competition was being run by the lovely Kate Ormand herself.  Unfortunately I was not lucky enough to win the competition, however Kate being as awesome as she is, picked extra winners to receive some signed swag.   I was lucky enough to be one of those extra winners!

I have hunted my local bookshops to get a copy of Kate's book Dark Days.  But had no luck.  So I ordered it from Amazon.  I can't wait to receive it and use the bookmark I received.  Seeing Kate had paid attention to me being on holidays etc makes it that much more awesome.  An author who truly appreciates their fans!

Next up: Waiting on Release 2

This one should not be a surprise if you have been on our blog page lately. Have you guessed? No? Well we have a countdown on the page that is how excited i am for this book. It's The Social Media Experiment by Cole Gibsen. Scheduled for release on September 2, 2014 by Entangled: Teen.

Last, but by no means least: Waiting on starting to read/release

I have been waiting overflowing with excitement since i was offered by Little Brown Book Group to read J.R Ward's The King (book 12 in the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series) in return for an honest review. I love the black dagger brotherhood series even though again it is a series ive had ups and downs with lately. So this morning i was waiting on the postman again (poor guy) and it arrived !! So i am waiting till tonight Booooo :( wish i could start right now, to finally get reading. Yay and i shall be posting a honest review as soon as i finish.
